Talking to your agent on the board chat.
The board chat is your direct line to the agent without going through WhatsApp. It's a chat panel inside the dashboard, top-right, behind the chat icon. Click it to open.
What you can ask
Anything operational. The agent has live access to your DEF data, so it answers from the real numbers, not a guess.
- "How's revenue today?" — current day's total, by source if relevant.
- "Who's on shift tonight?" — list of employees scheduled, with punch-in status.
- "Any guest complaints today?" — issues opened in the last 24 hours.
- "What's pending in maintenance?" — open tasks in that department.
- "Show me the week so far" — quick rollup of the current week.
Commands you can give
You can also act through the chat, not just ask:
- "Send a message to the front desk team: please double-check room 204 before turnover."
- "Create a task: order more towels by Friday."
- "Approve the swap request from Maria."
- "Pause notifications for the next hour."
The agent confirms what it did and where to see it. If it's not sure what you mean, it asks one clarifying question.
Why this matters
Instead of clicking through tabs to find a specific answer, you just ask. The board chat is the fastest way to interrogate your operation. Most owners use it more than any other tab.
The agent remembers the last few minutes of conversation, so follow-ups work naturally. After "how's revenue today?", you can say "and yesterday?" without re-explaining.
Try it now
Open the board chat and ask your agent "who's working today?" or "what's pending?". Read the response. Try one follow-up.
